NTS Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program

We offer many levels of treatment to fit your individual needs.

Depending on the level of care you need, you can enter at any phase of treatment and stay for the duration of that phase. To get the full NTS Treatment regiment, we suggest you enter into Phase I and progress through Phase III of our drug and alcohol treatment program.

Our Phase System is designed in 30-Day increments.

Primary Treatment - 30 days - Phase I

The NTS Treatment Program is designed as a 90-Day program, but we do offer 30 days of primary, intensive inpatient treatment. What this means is that you will be completing only Phase I of our three-phase treatment system.

The 30-Day program is designed to create a solid foundation for a successful recovery from alcohol and other drug addictions. This is the most intensive treatment regiment at NTS. You will work the 12-Step treatment program and focus on underlying issues fueling their addiction. A series of assessments and a thorough individualized treatment plan provide the groundwork for long-term recovery.

Many people decide to move into our extended care program where the recovery process continues - We refer to our extended care program as Phase II and III at NTS. Joshua House is our residental drug and alcohol treatment facility for men and Broadway House is our residential drug and alcohol treatment program for women.

Extended Care Treatment - 90 Days - Phase II and III

Our Extended Care Program is for people who need more than 30 days of treatment. Many people do need more than 30 days of treatment to fully address all their issues and obtain a strong foundation in their recovery.

People will most likely have completed an inpatient 30-Day program either with us, or at another primary facility before entering our extended care program (Phase II and III). This program is good for people who have been through multiple treatment programs prior to entering our program because it takes a person through all three phases of the NTS Orange County Drug Treatment Program.

You will move through a series of phases during your 90 days of treatment at NTS (Phase I -30 Days, Phase II - 30 Days, Phase III - 30 Days = 90 Days).

You will be expected to complete a series of individualized clinical assignments during each phase of your treatment.

The Sober Academy

National Therapeutic Services is proud to offer one of the most innovative and effective treatment modalities in the addiction treatment industry: NTS Academy (NTSA). The program combines college classes with traditional drug and alcohol addiction treatment and is specifically designed for the young adult desiring to start, continue, or re-enter the collegiate environment.

The Transitional Program - Intensive Sober Living

The Transitional Program is designed to help clients transition back into the mainstream of life. Clients are expected to be actively searching for employment and working within an indicated period of time. The program is ideal for professionals who cannot participate in our day drug and alcohol treatment program because of occupational responsibilities or family obligations, but still need to line in a sober environment. The program also provides an excellent transitional environment for clients completing the Extended Care Program.

Outpatient Treatment- The RAP Center

NTS Outpatient Program RAP Center Program is our longest standing and most recognized treatment program. The treatment program occurs three nights per week, has an elaborate system of checks and balances and is designed to be a comprehensive program for people who live in the Orange County, California area. The NTS Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program is also an aftercare option for clients completing a more intensive treatment program.

90-Day Outpatient Day Program

This program is ideal for people who live in the area, are able to find their own transportation to and from NTS, and need a more intensive level of treatment than our Outpatient Night Program offers. This program includes everything our signature 90-Day program offers, but you would be responsible for your own living arrangement.

Aftercare Monitoring - 1 Year

We utilize an excellent, technologically advanced Aftercare Monitoring Program that tracks a person's progress after treatment for one year. For more information about this service please visit
