Sober Living Residential Drug Rehab

NTS

Many people require a prolonged treatment episode to successfully combat their addiction. The NTS Residential Drug Rehab provides a person the treatment they need for as long as they may need it in a safe, monitored, comfortable environment.

Some people enter our primary 30-Day Program at the Joshua House, then transition into extended residential drug rehab for extended periods of time. The NTS Programs are designed to allow a person the ability to Step Down in their treatment; from an intense 30 Day Program to an Extended Care 30 to 90 Day Program, to a Transitional Sober Living, and finally into Outpatient Aftercare Program.

People can stay at NTS for up to 1 Year if needed, and longer if required. Many people stay with us for an average of 6 Months.

For people who have been to previous treatment facilities, had difficulty in getting sober on their own in the past, or need Dual Diagnosis Treatment, it is often suggested that people remain in treatment for at least 90 Days, but statistics have shown that the longer a person stays in treatment (up to one year) the better the person's chances are of remaining sober.

Accredited Residential Sober Living Drug Rehab Facility

California has many residential sober living drug and alcohol treatment facilities. It can be confusing to decide which drug and alcohol treatment facility to go to. While many programs advertise similar sounding treatment for drug and alcohol addiction, not all treatment facilities are alike. In deciding on a drug and alcohol treatment facility, it is always best to look for a residential drug program with accreditation. Accreditation means that the addiction treatment center has gone through the process of meeting criteria to qualify as a treatment facility in California. NTS has been accredited by the California Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs and the Orange County Probation Department. We have successfully met all the stringent program requirements of the State of California and the even more stringent requirements for Probation.

Dual Diagnosis Residential Drug Rehab Treatment

NTS is a dual diagnosis addiction treatment facility. We provide an individualized dual diagnosis treatment for each client. For those with a mood disorder (Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) we personalize the program to address these issues by providing both an addiction treatment counselor and a therapist or psychologist to address the psychological mood disorder. Our addiction treatment professionals, therapists and psychologists work together in developing a comprehensive treatment plan to guide the treatment of the individual.

The advantage to a dual diagnosis sober living drug rehab program is that we can help to determine what is actually a disorder, or if it is being caused by addiction withdrawal. The primary question every clinician has struggled with over the centuries is whether the mood disorder or the addiction came first. At NTS we treat both at the same time, because whether the mood disorder came first or the addiction, they are both treated the same way. What becomes an issue in treatment is whether the mood disorder will dissipate the longer the person stays sober. At NTS we review the diagnosis many times throughout the client's treatment stay to determine whether symptoms have subsided warranting a revision in the client's treatment plan.

NTS offers primary, extended, transitional and outpatient levels of care.
