National Therapeutic Services offers the most cost-effective, affordable treatment on the market. For the price of a month in Malibu, a client can get up to a year of treatment at NTS. We are able to provide world-class treatment at an affordable cost because we customize each client’s treatment experience to include only what they need and nothing they don’t. This cost-effective treatment comes with the following promises:

National Therapeutic Services recognizes that chemical-dependency treatment is a significant financial investment. Our treatment is not cheap. We’re in the business of saving lives, and when you compare the cost of treatment to the cost of untreated disease, the choices are obvious. “Treatment is a bargain compared to expenditures for jails, care for children, and health complications that often accompany addiction,” according to SAMHSA Administrator Charles Curie. “Rarely do we have public initiatives that can save society as much as substance abuse treatment and recovery support services. Treatment provides an opportunity for recovery for the individual, better homes for children, and improved safety for our communities.”

Treatment fees vary according to the length of stay and the level of customized care. Personal Expenses are not included in the treatment fees. Clients and their families typically place at least $3000 on the books to cover a 90-day residential program. It is both suggested and expected that residents put at least $1500 on the books upon admittance to the program.

The following are examples of what the money on the books (MOB) funds cover:

• Medications
• Weekly allowance
• Activity fees
• Outside doctor appointments
• Clothing needed during the treatment cycle
• Extra therapy sessions
• Haircuts, shopping, and other incidentals
