In Orange County, California there are many drug rehabs and addiction treatment facilities to choose from. One of the reasons there are so many drug and alcohol treatment facilities in Orange County is because the 12 Step recovery community in Orange County is one of the best in the world. There are more AA meetings in Orange County per square mile than any place in the world. The alcohol and addiction treatment facilities in Orange County feed the 12 Step community in Orange County, ever growing the recovery population in the county. Orange County, California is not the only place to recover, but it is one of the best. There are numerous Alano Clubs in Orange County that have 12 Step meetings around the clock, giving addiction treatment facilities a variety of places to take their clients for AA and NA meetings. Taking clients to "outside" AA and NA meetings is one of the most important components of residential and primary addiction treatment facilities. When clients in treatment go to local AA and NA meetings they are exposed to others with more experience, strength, and hope than they have. They are able to find sponsors at AA and NA meetings, as well as connect socially to the recovery community so that when they are living on their own outside of treatment, they will feel comfortable attending the same meetings they attended while in treatment. Orange County, California also provides a beautiful setting to recover from drugs and alcohol. NTS Treatment Centers is located in the Coastal Community of Newport Beach/Costa Mesa area, which means that we are very close to the beach. Many clients who go through NTS end up remaining in the Orange County area, not just because of the excellent recovery community, but because its beatiful location.

I think aa and na meeting should be used as a follow up from going to an in patient program. I went to three different residential treatments, sometimes it takes a combination of treatments to work. I myself like the more natural, practical teachings to help with an addiction. 12-step and aa i touched on, but wasn't for me. Finding the best suited type of Drug rehab is critical to sobriety. This website helped me find the top success rated programs http://www.drug-rehab.ca

The negative effects of addiction are far reaching. Whether it involves the abuse of drugs or alcohol, the behavior of the addicted person impacts many lives. Spouses and children, parents and siblings, and close friends are all affected.
Drug rehabs centers consider the family throughout the rehabilitation, healing and recovery process. As an integral part of Christian faith based drug rehab treatment program, they provide the opportunity for Christian family counseling.

South Coast Counseling opens Mens Sober Living for Mature Professionals
I was at the open house for the new Pegasus Sober Living and was quite impressed.
The home is set up for Long term support , for men who desire a spacious & comfortable setting, with less restrictions than a Recovery Home. The Staff told us that there is a desire for older men,who are serious about recovery,to live in a calmer environment in the Newport Beach location.
Although the Main facility,Plumer St . location is Probation approved , the new home is currently leaning towards men with little or no legal issues and a reasonable level of stability is required.
The home itself is large , rooms accommodate 1 or 2 residents and the pool and backyard , quiet, serene and relaxing.
I asked about fees , and was told they vary, depending on the level of care , accomodations and length of stay. They were very reasonable, compared to the other Executive type facilities we visited this month.
At the time, there was no website available, but I was told to visit www.southcoastcounseling.com
Or call the Director Jack Motley CAS NCCA , at (949)642-0180

It's good to know that in California, there are many sober living houses for addiction treatment. I guess California is a place to recover too.
