We want to help you or your loved one get the healing and treatment that will be the start of a new life; we don’t want to see money prevent anyone from getting help.
Northbound is committed to serving those families and individuals who would ordinarily have difficulty affording our services. We pledge that we will always try to find a way to get everyone who contacts us the treatment they need. We can even arrange payment schedules and help potential clients apply for scholarships with several non-profit foundations affiliated with Northbound.
Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. If you are looking for aid in affording treatment, you should know that:
- We work with a variety of independent lending organizations
- Such loans can cover tuition and may even include transportation to and from the program
- There are multiple loan products available with competitive rates
- Interest rates are currently at historic lows
- It is possible to qualify for deferral of interest for up to 6 months with no prepayment penalties or cancellation fees
Because the loan qualification and application process can be confusing, and with so many loan companies available to choose from, Northbound’s expert financial staff will help walk you through the process of choosing and applying for a loan. With our years of experience, we’ll be able to direct you to the companies that specialize in helping families in similar circumstance, guiding them through the process and improving the odds of a successful outcome. For example, the professionals at Clark Behavioral Health Financing offer help and advice even for those who don’t qualify for a loan; they will counsel you in ways to qualify, whether by adding a co-signer or considering credit repair. Once pre-approval has been achieved, the entire process can be completed in about 5 business days.

Offering financial assistance to those who qualify is just one way that Northbound Treatment Services strives to makes its inpatient and outpatient treatment programs affordable. There are several types of loans to choose from with competitive rates and interest deferral for up to 6 months with no prepayment penalties or cancellation fees. Loans can cover all treatment costs (with the exception of personal incidentals).
Northbound is a private-pay facility and is out-of-network with all insurance carriers. We are happy to report that most PPO insurance plans generally cover our services. After a full verification of benefits and a clinical assessment has been completed, Northbound is then able to determine the level of out-of-pocket expense that the treatment program will represent for the insured. In some cases, we are able to accept insurance as partial or full payment for services.
It is also possible for alternate agreements to be arranged through your insurance carrier through single case agreements on a case-by-case basis.
If we are unable to accept insurance as payment from your carrier, we will work with your carrier to guarantee that the maximum amount possible will be reimbursed to you — as allowed under your plan up to the total quoted cost of treatment. Our insurance billing department is able to give you our best estimate of what you can expect in reimbursement prior to admission.
