When a person begins substance abuse treatment at NTS they are initiated into a program that delicately, yet painstakingly, takes them through the beginning stages of recovery from drugs and alcohol. Clients at NTS Treatment Centers are given a thorough orientation to the NTS program. The NTS program involves 180 twelve step meetings in 90 days, 180 Group Sessions, and exercise sessions. Clients are also required to complete a Step Workbook within their first 30 Days of treatment no matter what program or phase they may enter in to. The Step Workbook takes clients through the first few steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. Clients are also expected to obtain a sponsor within their first 30 Days of substance abuse treatment. Each client receives an individualized treatment plan. Some client’s may receive privileges that other clients do not receive. We believe that each client deserves an individualized treatment plan with specific groups, lectures, and twelve step meetings that conform to their treatment needs. For example, if a client enters substance abuse treatment at NTS with a drug addiction and an eating disorder our clinical team will design a treatment schedule that includes eating disorder treatment, our clinicians who specialize in treating eating disorders will conduct a thorough clinical interview, and we may assign the client to to one hour of eating disorder therapy per week with one of out therapists who specializes in eating disorder treatment.
