The Bridge, which is the Northbound Transitional Program, is designed for clients who are either being discharged from an inpatient program, leaving a 90-Day extended care program or who have been clinically approved to participate in this program. The Bridge serves as the opportunity for users in recovery to continue developing their sense of sobriety before reintegrating back into everyday life. This 12-Step based program focuses on treating all forms of addiction, including:
- Alcoholism
- Drug addiction
- Dual diagnosis
Backed By Research
Research has proven that the more time a person spends devoted to the development of their sobriety, the stronger the likelihood of their continuation of good health. At Northbound, we have built upon this concept by offering our multi-faceted transitional program to the mix. Not only do clients succeed because they have changed their lifestyle, but they also do so through their relationships with our team of professionals who offer the following support:
- Helping recognizing signs of relapse behaviors
- Teaching life skills
- Offering support and counseling
- Assisting clients in utilizing the local recovery community
The transitional program at Northbound focuses on providing clients with the opportunity to increase their experiences through this support, as well as social connections and 12-Step meetings. The program also encourages clients to rejoin the workforce through resume writing, filling out job applications and help with job placement. As we continually provide a caring environment for our clients, we witness the many successes that they accomplish as a result, including positive reintegration into the workplace, homestead and more.
