30 Day Primary Treatment

30 Day Primary Treatment

The 30-Day treatment program offered at Northbound is designed to create a solid foundation for a successful recovery from substance abuse problems and mental illness. Our nationally-recognized treatment center offers a comprehensive mind, body and spirit approach that not only helps with these problems, but also offers treatment suited for a variety of client needs. Our 30-Day program is best suited for those individuals who find themselves involved in the following:

  • Drinking or using compulsively
  • Living in a destructive environment
  • Suffering from severe stress in their day-to-day life
  • Are a danger to themselves or others

Each client receives more than 40 hours a week of individual and group therapy from one or more of our many credentialed therapists. We ensure to match up our clients with the best qualified therapists for their specific situation. Some of the many treatment modalities that Northbound therapists focus on using during treatment include:

  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy
  • Motivation enhancement therapy
  • Transformational therapies

Over the 30 days spent at Northbound, clients will work with our therapists to identify the behaviors and attitudes that have led them to a path of destruction. The overall goal of this program is to begin teaching clients how to control their symptoms, reduce their isolation and increase their social connections and communication with others.

What to Expect During Phase I

Our 90-Day treatment program consists of three phases, the first phase being the one and only phase that those who choose to participate in 30-Day treatment will complete. During this time, patients will undergo psychiatric evaluations, receive treatment for existing issues and be supervised in a house where a staff will bring them to their sessions. Some of the other key factors that make up Phase I include:

  • Educational workshops
  • Individual/group therapy sessions to promote open communication
  • Addressing issues such as mood disorders or substance abuse
  • Development of coping skills

At Northbound, we understand how complicated it can be for someone to live with a substance abuse problem, a mental illness or a combination of both. Through the provision of a safe, structured and mentally stimulating environment, our patients can begin addressing their issues in ways that allow for them to develop a life of sobriety.
