Outpatient Program for Addiction in Newport Beach, CA

nb-brushed-form-image-v5

Northbound understands that recovery is a highly personal, ever-evolving journey. We have challenged ourselves and the status quo to offer as many unique program options as possible to be able to truly meet each client where they are. Our Outpatient Treatment program provides an intermediate step between our IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) and the Support level of care. Participating in this program allows clients to continue solidifying their recovery lifestyle with the ongoing guidance, motivation, and accountability of their treatment team and community of sober peers.

Is the Outpatient Program for Addiction and Mental Health Right for Me or a Loved One?

Determining the next step in your recovery is not something that you have to do on your own. Northbound collaborates with clients to identify their needs and assess their progress. We offer help as you to decide if our outpatient program for addiction and mental health is right for you or your loved one. This program can be tailored to fit with your schedule and provide you the level of treatment and support that you need. If you live in Orange County, are currently substance-free, and are looking for additional support, outpatient treatment at Northbound may be right for you.

Engaging in Christ-Centered Counseling

All Northbound clients engage in counseling during treatment, but LINKS places an emphasis on Christ-centered counseling and incorporating the role of faith into problem solving and working through challenges. Christianity is a source of strength for many individuals. Christian rehab is an amazing opportunity to put faith into practice and rediscover the power of spirituality. The idea that there is something bigger out there – something more powerful than the individual – is humbling, centering, and incredibly moving.

What Does Outpatient Treatment Involve?

Outpatient treatment is considered a “step down” (a lower frequency and intensity) typically following our IOP program. While Northbound’s focus on In Vivo®, evidence-based, individualized treatment remains strong, Outpatient programming specifically consists of:

  • Minimum of three service hours per week
  • Individual and group therapy and psychoeducation
  • Individual case management
  • 12-step immersion
  • 12 Step engagement
  • Recreational and experiential activities
  • Psychiatric care as needed
  • Ongoing drug testing
  • Optional concurrent participation in Northbound signature services including Collegebound, Careerbound®, LINKS, or the Trauma Program
